This architectural complex comprises of three old traditional houses of the 19 th century that
have been renovated in 2000. It has a big garden and a threshing floor which is preserved in
its initial shape. It is located 15 km far from the city of Lefkada, in the mountainous region of
the island, very close to the old, traditional and quiet villages Alexandros and Kolyvata.
Alexandros has recently been characterized as a traditional settlement by the Greek state.
The houses are in balance with the local scale, integrated in the landscape, and reflect the
architecture of the region. They are surrounded by wild nature, vineyards and hills.
From 2004 to 2018 the complex functioned as a tourist guesthouse (neion guesthouse) and
from 2015 to 2017 it hosted the artist-in-residence program “The island-resignified”.
