The three-day (September 9-11, 2022) Film Festival entitled “WAVES” under the artistic direction of Marinos Sklavounakis, which took place in the renovated area of Thalassomylos and had as its theme Kefalonia on the small and big screen, was successfully completed. The Region of the Ionian Islands and especially the Regional Unit of Kefallinia stands as a helper and companion on the important cultural routes of our island.
During the festival, films directed by our talented fellow citizens were screened, as well as excerpts from great film productions that were filmed on our island.
