The Ionian Islands Film Office participated in the Greek pavilion and made important contacts with the Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports, in charge of contemporary culture, Mr. Nikola Giatromanolakis, executives of the Greek Film Center and EKOMEmedia, Greek and foreign producers, directors and film industry professionals.
The comparative advantages of the Ionian Islands as a filming destination and the operation of the Ionian Islands Film Office as a lever for attracting audiovisual productions and facilitating them during their filming were presented.
Great interest for shooting in our islands was expressed by companies from abroad such as Infinity Hill and Redwave Films.
