Rena, the daughter of Κatsaros, a rich Corfiot, quarrels with her father, because he wants her to be married to the naïve son of a shipowner, Dinos, and she flees dressed like a boy, to Ioannina city. While travelling she meets Lefteris, a poor young man, who is heading to Ioannina to work with his uncle. Katsaros seeks his daughter and rewards anyone assisting to find her. Random events reveal Rena’s identity, who in the meantime has fallen for Lefteris.
