The Italian director Uberto Pasolini returns to the island of Phaeacians in the Spring with world-class actors, Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche, for the filming of the movie “The Return”.
The contribution and multifaceted assistance of the Ionian Film Office is remarkable in yet another international audiovisual production.
The first contact was made at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2022 and two more meetings followed in Corfu
The film “The Return” is the first collaboration of Fiennes-Binoche since 1996 and the great success “The English Patient”. The international co-production includes filming in Corfu and the Peloponnese
The script of the film concerns the return of Odysseus to Ithaca. It is expected in cinemas in mid-2024
