The Department of Tourism of the Ionian University with the contribution of the Ionian Islands Film Office held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 in Corfu an event entitled:”Travellers, Destinations and Pop Culture”. In the event, which took place as part of the Department of Tourism’s “Destination Management” course, two world travelers and citizens of the world (Konstantinos Haberopoulos and Philip Atlakson) shared with the students of th Department their stories and experiences and explained how two modern destinations (Egypt and Cambodia) are shaped.
The event included the presentation of the Ionian Islands Film Office and the way the Ionian Islands are looking to find those stories which will shape them as a modern filming destination.
