This summer, Warner Bros. Europe, on behalf of the German TV channel RTL, chose the island of Zakynthos for the filming of Bachelorette. According to Location Manager Giannis Firigos, this is the fourth consecutive year that our country has been selected for this show. For the filming in Zakynthos were selected locations the characteristics of which highlight the natural beauty of the place, its history and its culture. This way, the recipients of image and sound get to know the island of Zakynthos and become potential tourist visitors.
The assistance of the local authorities was important regarding the issue of the necessary filming permits, as well as the hosting of the Deputy Regional Governor of e-Government and European Programs Mr. Konstantinos Kapodistrias, who held a meeting with German executives in his office and contributed to the successful conduct of the shooting, providing all the relevant aid both in the search of the locations and in the implementation of the shooting with the continuous support of Ionian Film Office Zakynthos.
